The room is dimly lit and the figure standing at the window is lit from behind by the light of moon, a faint glow around her form. Her eyes rest on the sleeping figure on the bed for a moment before she crosses the floor, fingers smoothing the clothing covering him. He only ever looks relaxed when he sleeps and that's when she likes to watch him the most.

He'd been reviewing paperwork, but the print was too small and the chair was painful and rigid against his back. So he'd chosen to crawl onto bed to do them.

It wasn't exactly proper of a king, but it was getting late, and he was a king, after all. Who was to tell him no?

However, Uther hadn't planned on falling asleep, slumped over his paperwork. There have been so many nights of nonstop work, that he has yet to notice the figure watching over him.

She hesitates to touch him before her fingers move to pull the papers away from where he lay on the bed, setting them aside. A moment later, she was seated beside him sleeping form, even though her weight didn't move the bed at all.

Tetsuya Kuroko | snow + winter + anything else you wanna

[Kuroko walked calmly, sitting on the designated place which he had previously arranged to meet with Momoi. His mouth was letting out small steamy breaths, has his warm air contacted with the cold minus temperatures outside his body and made that effect.

It was the 24th of December and it was cold outside. His hands were covered in small pastel blue gloves, which were holding a small bouquet of red and pink roses. There was around just 4, since this had been the total amount that him with Kise had managed to get with their combined money.

He feels a small cold drop on his nose, looking up and realizing it had started snowing.

He looks down again, to his roses, worrying about their resistance to the cold snow.

He hoped that Momoi arrived quickly… Maybe with this weather it would be better to change the program to go to a cafe instead and have a warm chocolate…

… Then again, he had spent all his money on the flowers.]

[ It certainly is freezing outside, but Momoi is happy to see the beginnings of flurries. It's beautiful, and a little romantic as well.

She breaks into a light jog as she spots a familiar blue-haired boy. ]

[There's a knock on the Hughes' apartment door. However, Gracia is in the kitchen, so it's up to Elicia to answer the door.]

Upon seeing who it is, she throws the door open further, and beams up at Roy. ]

[How did it come to this? Somehow, Shirou, who was supposed to be the amateur, is now trying to teach Sayaka how to properly wield unlimited swords. Though he has to arm himself, first.]

[A pair of short swords materialize in Shirou's hands.]

Don't worry, I won't attack. I want you to come at me with everything you've got, all right? Try to land at least one blow on me in one minute.

[ A small, confident smirk as she grips her sword with both hands. ]

[ And she's rushing straight at him, arms raised over her head. ]

[Shirou reacts quickly. He raises one sword to parry the strike, and holds the other sword in front of his chest in case she tries to fake him out.]

Arashi | injury

[Well. Monsters seem to be on the loose. Right now, one is down at the end of an alley, well within Arashi's range of vision. She's also injured.

Suddenly, the huge monster gets hit by a flash of white and skids away. Now visible is a gigantic robot. It reaches back with both hands, and draws a pair of beam sabers, casting a red glow over the area with them. It dashes forward, and with four strokes, relieves the monster of all its limbs and its head.

It then backs up...and the chest opens up. Someone is inside, and he seems to have noticed Arashi.]

Come on, you need to get out of here! It's too dangerous outside!

[ Despite the dangers around them, she can't help but pause to stare up at the giant robot. She has to twist herself out of the awe and shock of seeing something so big.

Wincing a little at the wound on her right side, her hand grips tightly onto he sword. ]

N-no...! There are still innocent people out there. I'll-- [ Another wince, and she has to bring her left hand up to cover the wound. ] --be fine.

[The AGE-2 kneels and lowers one of its hands.]

Lancer | Time for a match between two knights.

[The sun has just peaked over the horizon. Gawain draws his broadsword, a smile on his face.]

It has been far too long since I've fought an opponent as worthy as you, Lancer. I shall enjoy this fight.

[ He smiles, and tilts his head in acknowledgement. ]

[ And then, spears up, in a fighting stance. Who will strike first? ]

[Gawain assumes his fighting stance, but he doesn't attack. Time is on his side; now that the sun is rising, his power will gradually increase. The longer the battle draws out, the more the scales tip in his favor.]

Momoi as per friend's request | rain

[It had been overcast all day, but it only started raining a few minutes ago. Luckily, Athrun had been in a department store and was able to pick up a new umbrella. A good thing, because he had several blocks to walk before he could reach the nearest bus stop.

Along the way, Athrun spotted a girl waiting under an overhang. As far as he could tell, she didn't have an umbrella, and the rain was picking up. Ever the gentleman, Athrun stops.]

Hey, are you waiting for the rain to let up?

[ A great day to forget an umbrella, really. At first she'd thought she could just brave it; it hadn't been that bad. But then, suddenly it just started pouring, and she'd found herself soaking wet.

Unfortunately, she was also sort of between her house and anywhere she could actually take shelter, so she'd had to duck under a random overhang to wait out the storm. ]

Yes, actually. [ A bright smile, despite being soaked. ] Did you want to wait with me?

Arashi; Bodyguard

[Court session for the day is over. The recently-crowned king of Agustria leaves the throne room out through the side door, and enters the meeting room. The person he's waiting for is there.]

So you're my bodyguard from here on, are you? Arashi, right?

[ This wasn't exactly what she'd expected. She's far more used to watching from afar, but for the purpose of today, she's to... actually meet the king.

It's all very overwhelming, and she'd spent the entire time standing outside the throne room, wondering what kind of person he is.

Arashi straights as she hears the door open, and bows down before she even gives herself a chance to really see him. ]
